ClearMint Essentials ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — if you create an account, your email address and authentication details (handled by our auth provider).
• Financial data you enter or import — accounts, transactions, bills, income and expenses. If you use the app without an account, this stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
• Billing data — if you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Basic technical data — limited logs needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use it

• To provide the dashboard and sync your data across your devices.
• To process subscriptions and provide support.
• To keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not sell or rent your personal or financial information, and we don't use it for advertising.

3. Storage & security

When you enable an account, your data is stored in our database (Supabase) and isolated per user with row-level security. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). See our Security page for more.

4. Sharing & third parties

We share data only with service providers needed to run the product — for example our hosting/database provider and our payment processor (Stripe) — and only as required to deliver the service. These providers process data under their own terms and applicable law.

5. Your rights

You can access, export and delete your data at any time from within the app (Settings → Export / Erase). To request deletion of all data, see Data Deletion. Depending on your location (including under Canada's PIPEDA and similar laws), you may have additional rights to access or correct your information.
